Description
The Town seeks an insurance broker of record to provide insurance brokerage and risk management services for the Town and its Board of Education. Services include reviewing coverage, policies, claims, exposures, limits, and deductibles; recommending risk-management and loss-control measures; obtaining and evaluating insurance-market quotes; preparing renewal specifications; negotiating and auditing policies; and assisting with claims, certificates of insurance, and coverage questions. The contractor will also provide quarterly claims and loss-trend reports, annual renewal planning, and attend specified staff and committee meetings. Proposals must include a separate technical proposal and dollar cost proposal. The technical proposal must address the firm's qualifications and municipal experience, assigned personnel, references, approach to the work, and requested sample client materials. The contract is for five years beginning March 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032, with two optional additional years. The RFP specifies minimum experience and licensing qualifications and insurance coverage requirements; a certificate of insurance is required before work begins, not as a proposal submission item.
