Description
The Independence Housing Authority is seeking proposals for the Hocker Heights Demolition project. The work includes demolition and disposal of three buildings; removal and disposal of associated sidewalks and asphalt paving; proper abandonment of service lines; and grading and seeding. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds from a U.S. Government-approved surety authorized to do business in Missouri. Evidence of current personal injury, property liability, workers' compensation, and builder's risk insurance is also required. The project is federally assisted and includes applicable nondiscrimination and Missouri sales-tax provisions for construction materials.
