Description
Sumner County Government is seeking a contractor to replace the HVAC equipment serving the Sumner County Archives. The scope includes one new 4-ton split-system unit and one new 5-ton split-system unit, each with an electric heat kit and minimum SEER2 rating of 14.0. The contractor must identify like-or-better replacement equipment and justify the selections. Work also includes determining and installing required circuits to the existing panelboard; removing and disposing of existing units; providing required piping, valves, electrical installation, insulation, and heat tracing for outdoor chilled-water piping if necessary; tying into the existing building automation system if necessary; including crane rental and trucking; installing the units on the roof with any necessary roofing work; and meeting applicable code requirements. Pricing must include all parts, materials, and labor, with warranty terms, approximate lead times, an estimated project schedule, and any exceptions identified in the proposal. A required site visit with County Maintenance staff must be completed before submitting a proposal.
