Description
The Delaware Solid Waste Authority is soliciting sealed bids for the relocation of a portion of Asketum Prong 5 tax ditch; cleanout and repair of Asketum Prong 5 Tax Ditch and Sub 1 Prong 5; excavation and grading of new or existing ditches; and clearing, grubbing, excavation, and stabilization of a wet detention pond, including appurtenant work described in the Project Manual and construction drawings. Five sealed bid copies are required. Bids exceeding $200,000 must include a certified check or surety company bid bond of at least 10% of the total bid price. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds when the bid exceeds $200,000, execute the provided agreement and Hold Harmless Agreement, provide required insurance evidence, and ensure all bidder and subcontractor licensing and permitting requirements are met. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, subject to the solicitation terms.
