Description
The City of Philadelphia Department of Planning and Development is seeking a contractor to develop and deliver a training curriculum and related programming for up to 24 part-time Community Connectors employed by Neighborhood Advisory Committees. The work includes at least one orientation event, one additional convening event, and at least eight training or engagement opportunities during the contract period. The contractor must coordinate logistics, communications, materials, delivery, and follow-up; provide professional development and peer networking; establish participation benchmarks; and issue certificates of completion. Programming must address community engagement and resident-support practices, Philadelphia housing needs and programs, relevant City departments and service-delivery structures, and professional development. Proposals must identify proposed topics, in-person and/or virtual delivery locations, and all personnel or third-party contributors. The contractor must submit event reports documenting topics, attendance, and follow-up items, plus a final attendance and certificate report. The contract is expected to run from October 19, 2026, through October 18, 2027, with compensation not to exceed $30,000 and a fixed-price cost proposal.
