Description
The Gardner Public Improvement District, administered by Huerfano County, is soliciting sealed bids for the Sanitary Sewer Collection System Improvements project. The base bid includes: placement of a maximum quantity of one new 4-foot inside diameter manhole; installation of approximately 210 linear feet of 8-inch diameter SDR 35 polyvinylchloride (PVC) sanitary sewer collection system main replacement; installation of 20 linear feet of controlled low strength material around an existing water line; bypass pumping; installation of four 8-inch by 4-inch service line wyes to connect to existing sanitary sewer services, with appropriate wyes, bends, fittings, and up to 5 linear feet of 4-inch SDR 35 PVC pipe per connection, connected to the existing line with a Fernco strongback coupling; and installation of one highway crossing including 45 linear feet of 16-inch steel casing pipe.
