Description
The City of West Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department is soliciting electronic bids for replacement fabric shade canopies for existing shade structures at Holiday Aquatic Center and Valley View Aquatic Center. The scope includes fabrication, furnishing, field verification of final dimensions and attachment conditions, packaging, freight, and delivery. Installation, removal of existing canopies, structural repairs or modifications, engineering services, and ongoing maintenance are excluded unless specifically authorized. The solicitation includes 14 canopy line items with maximum quantities, including two-post and four-post hip canopies, slide canopies, slide-tower canopies, and a 10-panel umbrella. Bidders may propose Commercial 95/Comm 95 Sunshade Mesh fabric or an equivalent commercial outdoor shade mesh supported by manufacturer technical data. Bids must identify pricing, fabric and manufacturer information, warranties, availability and production limitations, delivery timeframes, field-verification procedures, and any exceptions. Partial bids are permitted, and awards may be made by line item, facility, or combination.
