Description
The Town of Hampton is soliciting a contractor to provide all labor and equipment necessary to crush, screen, process, and stockpile earth and other non-organic materials at the Hampton Transfer Station. The contractor must process the entire stockpile, stockpile 1,000 cubic yards of finished material for the Town, and remove surplus processed material from the site. Surplus material will be purchased by the contractor on a per-cubic-yard basis, with quantities weighed and converted to cubic yards using a representative-sample density calculation. Work is to be performed between October 15, 2026, and March 15, 2027, generally during weekday transfer-station hours. The contractor must provide its own labor and equipment, protect public access and users of the facility, dispose of detritus at locations designated by the Town, and remove contractor-owned materials and equipment within the specified deadlines. The bid package requires a summary of qualifications, a current-client list, and three comparable-work references, and includes insurance, bonding, site-visit, and sealed-submission requirements.
