Description
The City of Cincinnati is soliciting bids for one 2026-or-newer Class 5 super cab and chassis with a Knapheide KC132H2094 canopy body and WACHS TM-7 Heavy Duty Plus automated valve operator, exciser, and rehabilitator, or an approved equal. The truck must meet detailed requirements for a 6.7L turbo-diesel engine, 4x4 drive, 19,500-pound GVWR, 10-speed automatic transmission, utility-body configuration, valve-machine accessories, and related equipment. The bid price must include manufacture, delivery, warranty, and all other costs necessary to provide complete operational equipment. The awarded contractor is responsible for warranty service, delivery, inspection compliance, and any required transportation for warranty work. Bidders must submit the completed bid forms, questionnaire, specifications and supporting literature, and the original Excel pricing workbook; the pricing workbook must remain in its original Excel format, while the other required forms must be combined into one PDF. A warranty transfer certification is required if warranty service is transferred to a local dealership.
