Description
The City of League City is soliciting sealed bids for rehabilitation of the existing Landing Boulevard lift station under CIP WW1901F and Bid No. 26-051. The work includes wet-well rehabilitation and epoxy coating; removal and replacement of pumps, discharge piping, valves, access hatches, and safety grates; filling the existing dry well; bypass pumping; electrical improvements; new pump-control and SCADA panels; automatic sensory controls, floats, terminal boxes, lighting, receptacles, and related equipment; driveway, sidewalk, paving, fencing, and gate improvements; storm-water pollution prevention; and associated demolition, disposal, testing, startup, and incidental work. The plans specify two submersible wastewater pumps rated at 400 gallons per minute and 7.5 horsepower, along with a SCADA system, antenna tower, and related controls. Bidders must submit the required bid package, including the bid proposal and cost sheet, bid cover sheet, bid certification and addenda acknowledgment, bid security, current financial statements, statement of qualifications with at least 10 references, House Bill 89 verification, Public Information Act form, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, and subcontractor and major supplier information. The bid requires a 5% bid security; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance, payment, and maintenance bonds after award. The general contractor must perform at least 40% of the overall contract value.
