Description
The City of Covington is soliciting sealed bids for recurring roadside litter, trash, debris, and municipal solid waste cleanup under an annual contract. The work is divided into two separately priced and awardable schedules: monthly cleanup of eight City roadway segments, and cleanup of three GDOT I-20 interchange areas with pricing for either monthly or twice-monthly service. The City may award either schedule, both schedules to one contractor, or the schedules to different contractors. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, vehicles, equipment, materials, permits, personal protective equipment, high-visibility apparel, traffic-control devices, hauling, lawful disposal, and related incidentals. The scope includes collecting, bagging, loading, hauling, and disposing of roadside waste; protecting the traveling public and infrastructure; coordinating with City and GDOT activities; and providing disposal receipts or weight tickets with monthly invoices. The initial term is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewal options. Required proposal materials include completed pricing schedules, a Georgia business license, insurance evidence, experience and references, an operations and equipment description, and specified affidavits and certifications.
