Description
The United States Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for one indoor wood dust collector and complete installation at the Packing and Crating function of the Cargo Movement Section. The system must include a minimum 7.5 HP, 208V/60/3 dust collector capable of 3,500–4,500 CFM, a manual filter shaker, a 230-gallon dump bin, NFPA 664 (2020) compliance, anchoring to the concrete floor, and galvanized-steel ductwork serving ten drops, including eight active ports and two floor sweeps. The work also includes a custom capture plenum, balancing gates, duct hoses, push-button controls, removal of the existing system, and removal of packaging. The contractor must provide and install two 120V, three-speed remote-controlled ambient-air filtration units, all required electrical conduit, boxes, wiring, disconnects, outlets, and controls, as well as equipment rentals, shipping, and a minimum 12-month parts-and-labor warranty. Delivery and installation are required by December 10, 2026. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside, and award will be based on technical acceptability, past performance, and lowest total evaluated price among technically acceptable offerors with a Green or better Supplier Performance Risk System rating. Funds are not presently available, and no award will be made until funding is available. Amendment 002 extends the response deadline to September 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and adds Wage Determination No. 2015-5469, Revision 32, for Arizona counties including Maricopa and Pinal.
