Description
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Navajo Area Indian Health Service and Kayenta Service Unit, is seeking a contractor to renew and continue voice and data telecommunications services for a one-year period. Services must support existing circuit-switched and digital circuit infrastructure, including dedicated high-bandwidth voice and data services, T1, DSL, point-to-point, MSDN, digital channels, direct inward dialing, local and long-distance calling, access services, routing, security, data paths, and related connectivity. The scope also includes technical support, maintenance, and repair for telecommunications equipment and provider-network infrastructure, including fiber-optic, microwave, and radio communications equipment. The contractor may be required to perform minor hardware or software assessments, replacements, repairs, modifications, upgrades, or installations. The requirement covers three facilities: Kayenta Service Unit/Kayenta Alternative Rural Hospital, Inscription House Health Center, and Dennehotso Health Station. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract using a lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation, with a one-year period of performance and a potential extension of up to six months.
