Description

The U.S. Army National Guard is soliciting a single small-business contractor for an all-or-none, firm-fixed-price repair and refresh of the base gate area. The work includes installing ballistic glazing and structural frame reinforcement; replacing windows, aluminum column covers, sliding doors, and gate hinges; installing owner-supplied aluminum panels; painting and resetting existing gates; and providing lifting equipment, labor, materials, transportation, and debris removal. The project also includes installation of a hip-roof fabric structure and steel framing, pavement removal, excavation and concrete foundations, rebar and anchor bolts, and erection of steel columns and trusses. The contractor must attend the required site visit, submit a lump-sum quote, a separate itemized quote, a work narrative, product literature, three past-performance references, the required telecommunications representation, and a certificate of insurance. Performance and payment bonds are not required. The award is contingent on funding and is expected to be made using lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation.
