Description
The Town of Thompson, New York, is soliciting bids for the Kiamesha Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project. The project includes four prime contracts: General Construction (Contract #TT1G-26) involving upgrades to the influent channel, oxidation ditches, tertiary sand filters, sludge holding tank, pumps, dewatering system, drying beds, existing pump station and buildings, and construction of a new pump station, UV disinfection building, and workshop/maintenance building; Electrical Construction (Contract #TT1E-26) covering electrical service upgrades and electrical work for new facilities; HVAC Construction (Contract #TT1H-26) for HVAC upgrades to existing buildings and new workshop; and Plumbing Construction (Contract #TT1P-26) for plumbing work in new buildings. The project is funded by the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation and requires compliance with MWBE goals, prevailing wage rates, and OSHA 10-hour certification. Bidders must submit a bid security of 5%, and successful bidders will need performance and payment bonds each at 100% of contract price, plus a one-year maintenance bond.
