Description
The Town of Smithfield is soliciting proposals for a labor contract to complete the Circuit G4 Kellie Drive Extension 13.2kV Distribution Line. This project involves the installation of new poles, primary and secondary overhead conductors, and secondary underground cable, as well as the removal of existing infrastructure. The work will be performed under energized conditions, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols. The Town will furnish all materials, including crossarms and hardware. Bidders must be licensed contractors in North Carolina and provide a 5% bid deposit. The contract requires performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract price.
