Description
The City of College Station is soliciting bids for Project No. 26-079, which involves upgrading the primary access gate to the College Station Utilities Electric yard. The project scope includes the removal and replacement of the existing gate with a new exterior chain-link sliding gate and a new barrier arm gate. Additionally, a concrete median with associated electrical conduit and utility routing will be constructed. Modifications to the concrete driveway and pavement will be necessary to accommodate the new gate layout and median improvements. Relocation or modification of the adjacent fence line is also anticipated. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. Central Time on July 7, 2026, and will be opened via a Teams meeting. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CT at the Public Utilities Meeting and Training Facility, located at 1603 Graham Road, College Station, Texas. Attendance at this meeting is required to submit a bid. A site visit will follow for attendees, requiring hard hats and closed-toe shoes.
