Description
Lafayette Consolidated Government is soliciting bids for the complete construction of a transmission line connecting the Pont des Mouton and Moss electrical power substations. The scope of work includes furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for tasks such as constructing concrete foundations, installing self-supporting poles, relocating and installing distribution facilities, and installing transmission facilities. The project is expected to be completed within 450 working days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders are required to be licensed contractors in Louisiana for Heavy Construction and/or Electrical and/or Electrical Transmission Lines for bids of $50,000.00 or more. The Lafayette Consolidated Government strongly encourages the participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).
