Description
Jordan School District has issued a notice of intent to award a contract without a standard procurement process for CogAT assessments. The notice states that the proposed procurement is based on a determination that only one source exists, or that transition costs make a standard procurement process unreasonable and the proposed award is in the District’s best interest. This is not a solicitation for quotes, bids, or proposals. Vendors wishing to contest the proposed sole-source procurement must submit their company name and a detailed written explanation of the challenge, including documentation demonstrating the existence of competing sources for the procurement item. Vendors that agree the purchase is a valid sole source do not need to respond.
