Description
Iowa Prison Industries is soliciting bids for various American-made square sign posts. The requested quantities include 300 12-foot, 2-inch, 12-gauge posts; 500 12-foot, 2-inch, 14-gauge posts; 300 14-foot, 2-inch, 14-gauge posts; 400 4-foot, 2 1/4-inch, 12-gauge posts; and 300 4-foot, 2-inch, 12-gauge posts. Each post must have 7/16-inch holes on 1-inch centers and comply with the stated dimensional and manufacturing requirements. Posts, anchors, and sleeves must be crashworthy under NCHRP Report 350 Category 2, Level 3, with a Federal Acceptance Letter. Specifications require ASTM-compliant, hot-dipped galvanized structural steel with specified coatings, high-frequency resistance welding, smooth and burr-free finishes, and telescoping compatibility. Shipments must use tarped flatbed trucks. Bidders may bid on all or individual post types, must identify deviations, and must complete and sign the provided bid price sheet and required certification documents.
