Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is soliciting bids for one new half-ton SuperCrew/Crew Cab pickup truck for Ushers Ferry Historic Village staff. The vehicle must meet detailed specifications, including a 5.0L V8 engine, four-wheel drive, approximately 157-inch wheelbase, minimum 7,000-pound GVWR, 6.5-foot bed, automatic transmission, trailer tow package, heated mirrors, air conditioning, backup camera, and bright white exterior. The vehicle also requires fleet-specific upfitting, including amber LED strobes, Whelen warning lights, an ECCO amber arrow stick, running boards, a Circuit Boss electrical isolator, wiring protection, a backup warning device, manuals, and the manufacturer's standard warranty. The bidder must be a licensed Iowa vehicle dealer, provide manufacturer's descriptive literature and a warranty summary, complete the specification checklist, state any exceptions, and deliver the vehicle FOB destination to Cedar Rapids. Delivery includes pre-delivery inspection, cleaning, final inspection, title documentation, and required warranty and service materials.
