Description
Tompkins County seeks a single-prime general contractor to replace roofing and perform exterior envelope work at the Daniel D. Tompkins Building. The scope includes removal and replacement of existing roof systems, new standing-seam metal and TPO roofing, flashing, gutters and downspouts, roof hatches, snow guards, ladders, and related carpentry, painting, and exterior repairs. The project also includes asbestos abatement of roofing materials and lead-safe work practices for designated exterior components. The contractor must coordinate the work as a single prime and comply with New York prevailing-wage and public-work contractor registration requirements.
