Description
Onondaga County seeks a supplier for motor and hydraulic oils delivered to County departments as ordered. The bid covers specified oil types, viscosities, performance standards, and packaging, including case, drum, and bulk quantities. Bidders must identify the manufacturer and brand, provide unit and extended pricing, and include manufacturer documentation with the bid demonstrating that proposed products meet the specifications. Only established premium brands or County-approved equivalents are acceptable; re-refined oils and house brands are prohibited. The resulting term contract is for one year, with up to two additional one-year renewals by mutual written consent. Deliveries are made as needed, with telephone orders placed before 10:00 a.m. due within 24 hours and orders placed after 10:00 a.m. due within 48 hours. The vendor must provide manufacturer technical lubrication advice as required. The bid requires a completed and signed Bid Form with pricing, specified certifications, a W-9, and manufacturer product documentation. No bid security or performance security is required.
