Description
Onondaga County seeks dedicated, symmetrical 1 GB fiber internet access with a /26 block of 64 IP addresses. Wireless service is not acceptable. The bid also includes circuit implementation from the vendor’s nearest access point to the Civic Center, including permitting, utility access, construction, installation, testing, and verification of speeds. Installation must occur during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, and implementation must be completed within three months of contract award. Bidders must provide monthly service pricing and a one-time implementation price. The initial contract term is one year, with three additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual written consent. The solicitation requires insurance and a New York State Department of Labor Certificate of Registration with the bid; bid security and performance security are not required.
