Description
The City of Phoenix Water Services Department is seeking a new laboratory-grade steam sterilizer (autoclave) for its Compliance Laboratory. The contractor must furnish, deliver, install, commission, and validate the equipment; provide operator training; and supply all required equipment, components, accessories, software, upgrades, consumables, documentation, and startup services. The sterilizer must fit within a 36-inch-wide by 75-inch-high by 60-inch-deep footprint, support laboratory and biohazardous-material sterilization, achieve and sustain 121°C at 15 psi for a 30-minute hold, and provide physical and electronic cycle records. The five-year agreement includes quarterly preventive maintenance, annual NIST-traceable calibration, on-call repair and technical support, OEM parts, and emergency on-site service within 24 hours. The contractor must provide factory-trained or OEM-authorized technicians, a minimum one-year full warranty, installation and operational documentation, and required product literature and pricing information. Offers are submitted electronically through the City's Procurement Portal, with required vendor questionnaire responses and signed forms uploaded through the portal.
