Invitation to BidThe City of Town and Country, Missouri, is formally requesting sealed bids from qualified firearms vendors for the trade-in of existing law enforcement inventory and the acquisition of new "Glock" brand pistols and associated magazines. Bids will be accepted until 10:00 AM on Friday, October 2, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened. Bids must be marked "DUTY PISTOL ACQUISITION AND TRADE-IN PROGRAM" and addressed to the City Clerk, City of Town and Country, 1011 Municipal Center Drive, St. Louis, MO 63131. Description
The City of Town and Country is requesting sealed bids from qualified firearms vendors for specified Glock law enforcement firearms and magazines. The acquisition includes 32 Glock 45 MOS Gen6 9mm pistols with Aimpoint COA optics and Ameriglo sights, five Glock 43 Gen5 pistols, five Glock 26 Gen5 pistols, five Glock 43 magazines, five Glock 26 Gen5 magazines, and 35 Glock 17/34/45/47 Gen5 magazines. No substitutions are authorized, and bids must include an itemized price list and total acquisition price including freight and delivery. The solicitation also covers the trade-in of up to 32 Sig Sauer P320C first-generation 9mm pistols, each with its original case and three magazines. The city may instead provide monetary compensation for units not physically traded in. Vendors must possess a valid Federal Firearms License, state a guaranteed delivery timeframe, and address the required transition process. The provided bid form must be completed and submitted; the preferred delivery timeframe is 90 to 120 calendar days after contract award.
