Description
St. Charles County is soliciting bids for reconstruction of approximately 0.41 miles of Duello Road from the south side of the bridge over Peruque Creek to approximately 300 feet south of Columbia Downs Drive. The work includes two-lane roadway reconstruction, grading, asphalt paving, shoulders, curb and gutter, a five-foot ADA-compliant sidewalk, drainage facilities, storm sewer structures and pipes, erosion-control measures, pavement markings, signage, fencing, driveway approaches, and related appurtenances. The contract requires completion within 300 calendar days after the written Notice to Proceed. The project is federally assisted and includes prevailing-wage requirements, Davis-Bacon and state wage provisions, Buy America requirements, DBE program requirements, environmental commitments including seasonal tree-clearing restrictions, and a minimum 30 percent prime-contractor self-performance requirement under the applicable federal provision. A bid guaranty of at least 5 percent of the base bid is required, along with full-value performance and payment/materials bonds after award. No second-tier subcontracting is permitted.
