Description
The City of Manchester is soliciting bids for replacement of approximately 104 linear feet of existing street trench drains at four locations, including removal of existing pavement and drain structures, excavation, new trench drain construction, concrete pavement and curb restoration, aggregate base, joints, sealant, grates, and site restoration. The base work identifies three locations, with a fourth location included as Add Alternate 1. Bidders must provide itemized lump-sum and unit prices. The contractor must maintain traffic and access during construction, provide traffic control, erosion control, utility coordination, dust control, cleanup, seeding or related restoration, testing support, and all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and incidental work necessary for completion. The project requires prevailing-wage compliance, Missouri work-authorization and lawful-presence documentation, a five-percent bid security, a subcontractor utilization form, a notarized non-collusion affidavit, insurance certificates, and at least three references for prior Missouri public-works contracts. The successful bidder must be prequalified for sewer construction with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and must furnish performance and maintenance bonding and, when applicable, a payment bond after award.
