Description
Saint Louis County Government is soliciting bids for exterior repainting at Spirit of St. Louis Airport. The work covers six West Ramp hangar buildings, one storage shed, and the exterior of the Airshow Operations and Customs and Border Protection building. The scope includes surface preparation, power washing, cleaning, rust removal, priming, and finish painting of metal siding, doors, trim, structural steel, masonry, EIFS, electrical equipment, piping, gutters, awnings, guard rails, and related components. The contractor must protect excluded equipment and surfaces, prevent overspray, provide color samples, coordinate phased work to minimize disruption to aircraft tenants and building occupants, and supply all labor, materials, and equipment. The project has a stated 60-day period from the Notice to Proceed to substantial completion.
