Description
The City of Phoenix Human Services Department is establishing a qualified vendor list for as-needed professional development training supporting its Head Start Birth to Five Program. Selected professionals will provide training for parents, staff, and community partners through keynotes, workshops, seminars, informational presentations, and question-and-answer sessions. Events may be virtual or in person in Phoenix, Arizona, with audiences ranging from approximately 10 to 1,000 participants and presentation durations varying by need. Relevant subject areas include early childhood development, school readiness, family engagement, child safety, mental health, trauma-informed care, social-emotional development, leadership, adult learning, staff wellness, health and safety, curriculum implementation, coaching, cultural responsiveness, and related topics. Presenters must hold a professional license, certificate, credential, degree, or publication in their area of expertise; have at least five years of experience in the specialty area; and provide evidence of at least one professional development event or five hours of technical assistance per year for the preceding three years. Responses are limited to 25 pages and must address the requested company qualifications, experience, personnel, and session descriptions, including measurable outcomes, process improvements, tools or takeaways, and attendee involvement.
