Description
Dakota County is soliciting single prime sealed bids for replacement of most, if not all, of the Burnhaven Library Center roof. The first alternate adds roof replacement at the most recent building addition near the entry, while the second alternate replaces a standing seam roof over one of the two penthouses. Bids must be submitted on the supplied bid form. The estimated construction cost is approximately $800,000. Each bid must include a certified check or acceptable bidder’s bond equal to 5% of the total base bid. The successful contractor must furnish Labor and Material Payment and Performance Bonds, each equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Substantial completion is required by December 4, 2026.
