Description
Hennepin County is offering fall grants for businesses and nonprofits to start or improve solid-waste-prevention projects. Eligible activities may include preventing food waste, reusing and recovering goods or materials, and replacing disposable products with reusable alternatives. Projects may address non-hazardous municipal solid waste, including trash, mixed recyclables such as paper, glass, plastics, metals, and cartons, and organics. Applicants must provide the total application amount. A virtual informational meeting is scheduled for September 10, 2026.
