Description

The School District of Manatee County is seeking proposals from USAC-approved and qualified firms to provide E-Rate-eligible internal-connection equipment and related installation services for 15 existing district facilities. The requested equipment includes approximately 362 network switches with necessary software and licenses, 1,510 wireless access points with necessary software and licenses, and associated antennas, connectors, and related components. Proposed equipment must be new, original-equipment-manufacturer equipment in original packaging; used or refurbished equipment will not be accepted. Switches must be Layer 3, integrate with Aruba ClearPass, support 10-Gigabit fiber uplinks, PoE+ ports, specified chassis configurations, warranties, replacement shipping, phone support, software upgrades, and management software. Wireless access points must support the specified Wi-Fi standards, PoE, multiple management modes, VLANs, multiple SSIDs, security and quality-of-service features, and integration with Aruba ClearPass. The awarded contractor will also be responsible for delivery, off-loading, installation, initial configuration, warranty and service information, and compliance with applicable E-Rate, licensing, insurance, and school-site requirements.
