Description
MassAbility seeks qualified Massachusetts-recognized Independent Living Centers to provide Transition to Adulthood Program services for students with disabilities ages 14 through 21, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, or other documentation of disability. Providers must offer five core services: information and referral, self-advocacy and community integration, peer counseling, independent living skills training, and transition services. Programs must use a peer-modeling approach, follow the Independent Living philosophy of consumer control, be cross-disability in scope, and have at least 50% of staff members who are people with disabilities. Services include individualized and group support, Independent Living Plan development, family and school coordination, community-based learning, recruitment and engagement, and flexible in-person, virtual, and hybrid delivery during school and non-school hours. The procurement anticipates two contracts, with a maximum obligation of $252,000 per provider and an initial five-year term from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2031, plus one five-year renewal option. Bidders must submit a completed response sheet, checklist, and Supplier Diversity Program plan, and must commit to partnering with eligible diverse businesses or nonprofit organizations.
