The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and insurance necessary to paint Building 2422 at Mountain Home Air Force Base. The work covers 107 unoccupied dormitory rooms, their bathrooms, two stairwells, and approximately 81,000 square feet of interior walls and ceilings. The contractor must apply two full coats of Sherwin-Williams 8180 Almond White semi-gloss interior latex paint to government-prepared surfaces, protect adjacent finishes and equipment, follow the manufacturer's recoat times, and meet specified workmanship standards. Work must proceed from the third floor to the first floor, including a mockup room, phased inspections, punch-list completion, final cleanup, and building turnover. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside with a 60-calendar-day performance period after notice to proceed.
