Description
The U.S. Department of State is seeking a contractor to provide interior painting services at the U.S. Consul General's residence in Toronto. The work covers the rear staircase from the top landing to the basement, rooms 150–155 and 250–256 on the first and second floors, and the front staircase from the main floor to the second floor. Painting includes doors, walls, ceilings, trims, and vertical stair pickets, with finishes matched to existing color and sheen. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, ladders, scaffolding, surface preparation, protection, cleanup, primer, and two coats of 100% acrylic low-odor base paint. Materials must be industrial-grade, delivered in original unopened containers, and supported by manufacturer technical information and application instructions. The contractor must comply with applicable painting, safety, permitting, insurance, and workplace requirements, provide an English-speaking on-site supervisor, and complete the work within 90 calendar days after award and notice to proceed, beginning within 10 calendar days. The anticipated contract value is CAD $8,000–$12,000. Quotations are evaluated on a lowest-price, technically acceptable basis.
