Description
The 124th Fighter Wing, Idaho Air National Guard, requires a new, unused, commercially available, rack-mountable VHF/UHF radio communication system for its Maintenance Operations Control Center. The system must cover specified VHF and UHF frequency bands, support AM and FM, be compatible with HAVE QUICK I/II and SINCGARS military waveforms and external Type 1 cryptographic devices, and include a 50-watt RF power amplifier, AC/DC power supply, base-station antenna, 24U 19-inch equipment rack, cabling, grounding and surge suppression, and an 8-port gigabit network switch. Equipment must comply with the Trade Agreements Act and NDAA Section 889 and include the manufacturer's standard commercial warranty. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, transportation, delivery, de-installation and legal disposal of the legacy system, installation and configuration of the replacement equipment, installation of a rooftop antenna on Building 1530 with at least 150 feet of LMR-600 or equivalent coaxial cable, and setup of a Radio-over-IP remote dispatch console with touchscreen, microphone, PTT equipment, speakers, handset, and required gateway or interface hardware. The contractor must conduct operational acceptance testing, including voice transmission and reception, remote console operation, antenna line sweep, and VSWR verification. The procurement is a firm-fixed-price, 100% total small-business set-aside with an optional separately priced seven-year extended warranty.
