Description
The City of Truth or Consequences is seeking a contractor for Water System Performance Improvements 2 (WSPI-2), ITB No. 2026-05-011, involving replacement and new installation of C-900 DR-18 PVC and FPVC waterlines using open-trench, jack-and-bore, and horizontal directional drilling methods. The project includes approximately 112 linear feet of 4-inch, 1,216 linear feet of 6-inch, 4,448 linear feet of 8-inch, 8,565 linear feet of 10-inch, and 22 linear feet of 12-inch waterline; approximately 150 linear feet of 18-inch steel casing by jack and bore; and approximately 100 linear feet of 8-inch and 211 linear feet of 10-inch FPVC waterline by horizontal directional drilling. The scope also includes 101 new water service connections, new meters, valves, fire hydrants, connections to the existing water system, roadway crossings, asphalt removal and replacement, sidewalk, curb and gutter, drivepad replacement, and full site restoration. The project is subject to Build America, Buy America Act requirements, with BABAA de minimis and minor-components waivers. Bidders must register to obtain the bidding documents and monitor the plan room for amendments and addenda; detailed submittal requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders.
