Description
The City of Sunnyvale is seeking one contractor to provide independent third-party plan review and special inspection services for indoor public safety radio coverage systems. Work includes remote plan-check activities and on-site assessment of radio coverage inside buildings, including equipment validation, coverage validation, testing, reporting, and as-needed consulting, management, and engineering services. Services must align with California Fire Code Section 510, as amended by the City, and NFPA 1225. The selected proposer must demonstrate public safety radio systems experience and remain independent of manufacturers, distributors, designers, installers, and maintenance providers whose equipment or work may be reviewed. The contract term may be up to five years, subject to the resulting agreement, available funding, and satisfactory performance. Pricing is requested for plan review, correction review, equipment validation, coverage validation, special inspection and related consulting, with optional after-hours testing.
