Description
Washtenaw County’s Office of Aging Services is soliciting proposals for high-impact, community-based programs and services benefiting residents aged 60 and older and their care partners. Eligible areas include health and wellness, community living and long-term supports, housing assistance and accessibility, care-partner support, care management, legal services, technology, education, and related services that improve safety, independence, equitable access, quality of life, and well-being. Proposals should address community need, service gaps, equity and accessibility, collaboration, organizational capacity, outcomes, and climate resiliency or preparedness where applicable. The County anticipates an initial one-year contract beginning January 1, 2027, with up to two additional one-year renewal options, subject to performance, funding availability, and approval. Applicants must submit a narrative proposal, logic model, evaluation plan, budget and budget narrative, financial documentation, required assurances and signature pages, local vendor certification materials, and other supporting documentation specified in the RFP. Annual requests are generally limited to $339,700 per applicant, with exceptions for justified countywide joint proposals.
