Description
The University of Michigan seeks a configurable, scalable system of record for planning, securing, tracking, and reporting on clinical placements and affiliation agreements for multiple nurse practitioner programs, including on-campus and distance-education cohorts representing approximately 400 graduate students annually. The solution should centralize fragmented manual processes, improve visibility into placements, agreements, and compliance, reduce administrative burden, support future expansion to approximately 875 undergraduate students, and integrate with the university’s existing technology ecosystem. The scope includes data migration from spreadsheets and legacy tools; secure integrations or APIs with a custom electronic student record system, Typhon where needed, Complio where needed, institutional single sign-on, and email systems; implementation and phased rollout; training and documentation for staff, faculty, administrators, preceptors, and students; and ongoing support. Proposals must address implementation methodology, staffing and resumes, solution scope, assumptions, cybersecurity, accessibility, pricing, references, and related supplier qualifications. The anticipated agreement is for a three-year period with two additional one-year extension options.
