Description
The City of Ann Arbor is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed pool contractors to remove existing vinyl liner systems, inspect and repair underlying marcite surfaces, and install new vinyl liners at four public swimming pools located at Veterans Park, Buhr Park, and Fuller Park. Respondents must provide separate pricing for each pool or pool group, including labor, materials, equipment, mobilization, and related costs; the City may award any combination of the work. The work includes substrate preparation and repairs, new liner installation, and an allowance for unforeseen marcite remediation. Work must be scheduled outside normal pool operating seasons, with preferred sequencing beginning at Veterans Park, followed by Buhr Park and Fuller Park. Proposals must address qualifications and experience, safety, workforce development, social equity and sustainability, pricing, authorized negotiators, and the required compliance forms. A 5% bid security is required, and the successful contractor must provide performance and labor-and-material bonds and required insurance.
