Description
The City of Ann Arbor is soliciting proposals for structural improvements at the Cobblestone Farm Barn. The work includes installing new structural beams, columns, and connection hardware; selectively demolishing and reconstructing interior walls and finishes; upgrading an existing restroom for ADA compliance; constructing built-in counters and millwork on the upper floors; restoring or replacing affected architectural finishes; and performing minor electrical modifications. The proposal must include qualifications and relevant experience, references from work performed within the last five years, major subcontractor information, workplace-safety and workforce-development documentation, social-equity and sustainability information, pricing for the complete work, an authorized negotiator, and required compliance forms. A 5% bid security is required, and the successful contractor must provide performance and labor-and-material bonds, insurance documentation, and prevailing-wage and living-wage compliance.
