The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center is planning a full-and-open, multiple-award IDIQ contract for up to four contractors to support shore-based manned hyperbaric and diving systems worldwide. The scope includes design, fabrication, installation, testing, inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of hyperbaric systems, recompression chambers, diver training and escape trainer facilities, hyperbaric medical facilities, surface-supplied diving systems, piping systems, pressure vessels for human occupancy, and high-pressure charging systems. Contractors must provide the personnel, materials, equipment, facilities, quality control, technical documentation, and worldwide travel needed for task orders. Required capabilities include complex piping fabrication and welding, AutoCAD design, certified clean-room operations, nondestructive testing, pressure-vessel fabrication to applicable ASME standards, and support for Navy installations and other government locations. The anticipated structure is a 60-month base period with an optional six-month extension. The requirement is a follow-on to the existing contract held by Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc.; the estimated value of that existing contract is $25,600,000. This notice is a presolicitation and does not itself request proposals.
