Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is offering a technology licensing opportunity for a patented manufacturing process that produces porous silica materials with interconnected pore networks. The process, known as SWIFT-Si, converts silicone foam into porous silica while preserving the internal pore structure, enabling the production of components in various sizes and shapes using conventional molding techniques. This scalable and potentially lower-cost method is suitable for applications in separation, filtration, catalysis, insulation, and other industrial uses. The technology is protected by U.S. Patent No. 12,129,351 and is available for exclusive or non-exclusive licensing. This is not a call for external services.
