Description
Santa Maria-Bonita School District is soliciting a lump-sum bid for installation of district-provided Verkada camera systems at Adam Elementary School and Tunnell Elementary School. The scope includes installation of 41 district-provided cameras and mounts, yellow CAT6 shielded plenum cabling, dedicated CAT6 patch panels, patch cables, conduit, cable management, junction boxes, labeling, camera registration in the District’s Verkada cloud platform, and end-to-end certification of each cable. The contractor must provide all installation materials other than the cameras and Verkada-brand mounts. The work must be performed by properly licensed and trained installers, with ladder work outside regular student hours. The project has a 90-calendar-day completion period after the Notice to Proceed, a one-year warranty, prevailing-wage and public-works registration requirements, and mandatory payment and performance bonds at 100% of the contract price. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required, and bids must include the specified proposal forms, certifications, bid security, subcontractor information, and references.
