Description
Walla Walla Community College is seeking a licensed childcare provider to operate its Clarkston campus childcare center at two facilities, serving children from one month through six years of age. The contractor must provide comprehensive childcare Monday through Friday, year-round, generally from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; prioritize college students, employees, and then community members on waitlists; accept eligible state and federal childcare subsidies; partner with the college's CCAMPIS program; and provide custodial services, meals, snacks, supplies, staffing, licensing, background checks, and all other operating costs. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of experience serving multiple age groups, current Washington childcare licensing, and qualified facility-director credentials. The proposal must address company qualifications, organizational structure, financial statements, operating policies, curriculum, health and safety, nutrition, staffing, rates, annual operating and startup budgets, and at least three recent references. The initial contract term is three years beginning January 1, 2027, with up to two additional one-year renewals. The contractor must transition into the facility during fall 2026 and be ready to provide services for the 2027 spring quarter.
