Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires transportation, inspection, and rehabilitation of twelve existing draft tube bulkheads associated with Dworshak Dam. The work includes pickup and return transportation, dry-blast cleaning to white metal, 100% visual and magnetic-particle weld inspection, weld repairs of up to 40 linear feet if required, and application of the specified USACE System No. 5-E-Z vinyl coating system. The contractor must provide qualified welders, weld inspectors, a certified coating inspector, compliant paint materials, coating-thickness measurements, inspection reports, and required quality documentation. The contractor must also supply specified VZ-108D and V-766E paint kits, handle loading and unloading at its repair facility, submit transportation and bulkhead-handling plans, and return the bulkheads in three scheduled phases between January and July 2027. The solicitation is a firm-fixed-price request for quote and is set aside for small businesses. Pre-award submissions include the signed solicitation form, applicable amendment form, general contract information, completed pricing schedule, descriptive materials, manufacturer data and warranty information, and required quality certifications and endorsements.
