Description
The State of Idaho, through the Division of Public Works, is requesting qualifications from design professionals for the renovation of Lewis-Clark State College’s Sam Glenn Complex in Lewiston. The project will convert approximately 2,827 square feet across Rooms 215, 216, 217A, 217B, 218A, 218B, and adjacent areas into a surgical technologist program and perioperative nursing lab/classroom. The scope includes architectural design, structural assessment and reinforcement, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, flooring, casework, sinks, access doors, life-safety coordination, audiovisual and simulation technology, and design of two fully equipped simulated operating-room suites with scrub-area functions. Required professional services include schematic design through construction documents, authority approvals, bidding, construction administration, project closeout, cost estimating, schedule development, stakeholder coordination, PBFAC presentation, and document uploads to Projectmates. The total project budget is $800,000, including fees and related expenses; the estimated construction budget is $672,000. The anticipated construction period is October 2027 through June 2028, with closeout and move-in activities extending into summer 2028.
