Description
The City of Redmond is soliciting proposals from qualified licensed professionals to provide Advanced Life Support and Paramedic Program Medical Director Services. The contracted physician will serve in a delegated Medical Program Director role under the direction of the County Medical Program Director and provide hands-on clinical oversight, quality assurance and improvement, electronic patient care report review, continuing education, provider-performance support, and collaboration with Fire/EMS leadership. The expected commitment is 12 hours per week with Redmond Medic One paramedics, quarterly meetings with King County Medical Program Directors, run review, coordinated training, continuing-education and research support, connection with local emergency facilities, and assistance with annual mass-casualty drills. Letters of support may be submitted as attachments outside the seven-page response limit. The solicitation does not publish the current contract amount or budget; insurance policies will be reviewed after intent to award.
